Personality: The act:
Pirate lord Ko is one of the most feared people on the sea. a murdering scoundrel who has carved his name threw fear and abuse. They say that his pistal has never missed, and that his sword crashes like lightning on the high seas. An odd magic surrounds the pirate captain who can control the seas themselves, and even some say can summon fire from the ocean to bring down apposing ships. None who have ever encountered the heavens sea have lived to tell the tail.

The captain: If you were too dig deeper maybe in some seedy tavern you would be lucky to find a man who served among the pirate lord Rackem, or better someone who knew him for the captain Jace. They would give you a different story. That Jace was actually some awe inspiring genius. A man to be feared and respected, his pistal the fastest relode in the world, and his sword held his true power. Jace himself is a man of bravery fearing no other living creature they will tell you that Jace is a diplomatic captain often giving his crew a say in many matters, a fair man as long as they served well enough.

Jace is a con man, it is simply put that both stranger and crew have it wroung. Jace holds no true magic only an unnatural knowledge in science. Jace is simply put a bad guy only by extension and career, in truth he is just a lover of freedom he disagrees with most laws choosing to set his own path and aquire his welth outside of the system if that makes him evil so be it.

Jace has set his path as a man who does not bend to rules, and in times this has forced him to take up a weapon. So many times in fact that he has learned his own style of combat and learned it well. although he is fully qualified to teach it chances are the only one who will, will be the next pirate lord Rackem.

Jace inherited his ship and name from the fourth pirate lord Rackem and has done his best to keep the image and name alive. This has meant that for the most part he must act in accordance to the pirate’s ways and code, which is hard because he’s a pirate that literally means that he doesn’t follow rules or routines so the code is merely guidelines some choose to obey. For his own sake he has had to keep up the image of a ruthless killer and murderer. With most of the work techinically already done for him all he has had to do is sit back and work the image. He is also a shamless pervert and womanizer but that comes with the territory of being a pirate.

Special ability:Incredible endurance.
Family Style: he has the style of the pirate lord Ko, not a family style but something that is handed down it’s a fighting style that acts with dirty fighting in mind. The sword he carries is custom made to fit the style and same with the gun both are used in the style, getting in close with the sword causing a flinch with its modified noise in that moment you fire the gun at point blank range.
Strengths: his sword modified creates a sound like a clash of thunder when struck. This along with his modified flint lock pistol which has six shots instead of one give him a strong advantage on the fighting field, also when these fails he carries a dagger poisoned by the insides of deadly frogs. These along with his endurance and ability to take a hit make him a formidable foe on the battle field.
Weaknesses: water: Water will throw off his guns balance and cause it clog, it also throws off the tuning of his sword weakening the noise it can make, and the poison covering his dagger is washed off in water, as such he must make sure to keep well away from the rain.
Style:Dagger fighting: the style he first took up when marooned onto the high seas hes increadably handy with the speed and endurance necessary to keep up in a knife fight.

Flintlock Volly pistal: (six shot)

The flint lock volley pistal is his long range advantage. It holds six chambers each can be loaded with a single shot, allowing six shots before it has to be reloaded. A unique mechanizim will click in after each shot changing the chamber that’s being used, and allowing the gun its next shot. this means that for its time it’s a faster but slightly heavier gun then would normally be used. It has two main problems however like all flintlocks of its time the gun has a tendancy to… not be able to aim, and its accuracy only decreases under the stress of rapid fire. this means that the gun is best used at medium and close range, and like all flintlock pistal’s when wet the gun becomes useless as the gunpowder wont ignite and the gun will jam.

This sword is unique in many ways, for one its curvature at the end of the blade is designed to move the opponents sword and better maneuver and trap. For two at close combat the blades unique heavier design requires an intense amount of endurance to wield this blade for extended periods of time as the balance shifts with each strike. Its hook design also makes it harder for an oppenant to escape from combat at close range. Lastly the back of the blade is actually a lot thicker then the actual picture. This is because the back of the blade is an air pocket which has several steel bars running threw it, these act as tuning forks and every time the blade is struck these tuning forks unleash an ear splitting cry that makes someone who is inexperienced with the blade flinch. And has the added effect of adding a vibration to the sword increasing its damaging potential against soft flesh, and shaking the sword of the person who struck it.

Dagger:[see character pic] Jaces first real weapon the dagger he possesses has its own advantage its been poisoned with the insides of frogs. With one scratch of its blade the clock starts ticking however because jace used the wrong type of frogs the poison is non leathel. Within five posts the person will begin to feel the side effects and feel drowsy and woosy there vision may blur in and out, in ten posts the person will feel weak may vomit and will possibly go temporarily blind, by the fifteenth post of the fight they will go unconscious.

History:The story of the ship and crew: The story of the pirate lord Ko starts thirty years ago, legends tell of a captain so fearful so deadly that hell its self spat him back out. Ko was his name the first of the fearsome pirates was actually once a captain under the great brittish navy. The heavens sea built thirty years ago to be Brittan’s greatest flagship she would take a hundred to man. She was a Galleon and was handed to Ko a man who was already feared among captains. However he repaid the power that the crown gave him, by becoming the most feared person in the waters.

They say that the reason he has lasted as captain for thirty years is that he was cursed immortal. Given the most fearsome ship in the world he would become akin to black beard. And most would say that Ko’s figure has always been imposing. He was supposedly a master of black magic able to change his appearance and summon thunder, and they say he never missed a shot.

In reality the first pirate Ko lasted only 10 years at mast before retiring and living like a king on the coast of the Caribbean. He then handed his powers on to another, taking up the position of first mate and calling him Ko and captain. This process has been repeated four times giving the legend of Ko its own immortality. However to afford this immortality each Ko must act and take on aspects of the last, All must be ruthless and feared least the legend loose its effect and Ko go soft.

Jaces’ story: Many a man have woken up at sea and not known why they were here. For Jace this was a reality when the tavern he was staying was invaded and he was knocked unconscious at the young age of ten. When he awoke he found himself in dark crew quarters only to be pulled out of the unfamiliar hammock and thrown onto a bright and unfamiliar deck, on a ship with dark purple sails.

As if waking up on an unfamiliar ship wasn’t bad enough he soon found himself in the company of the crew, and he soon knew his place. He was stolen into the service of the Heavens sea, one of the most feared vessels in all the land. his work was long and arduas with days starting at dawn and not ending till well after dusk. He was provided only with the previsions that were necessary, and given no quarter. When it came to motivation there was no doubt that Ko knew how to move a crew, dispite all the harshness of that first voyage when ever He was entering battle when ever he was about on deck, Ko was a man to be feared and respected.

The only thing that he could say about crew motivation is that there were two places you could be, a functioning member of the crew or off the starboard bow. Ko expected the best from his men but he also gave the best. in that one voyage even those who were stolen into service were allowed a cut of the gold, and despite the hardships Jace found himself a rich man in only a few months time. then the ship pulled into harbor, and those that wanted to leave were allowed, and Jace had considered it, longer and harder then most people who were just grateful to have survived there first encounter with Ko.

Jace decided that he would stay, and on the second voyage as he stepped willingly onto the deck he found himself with a promotion. He had gone from one of the stolen crew members usually just cabin boys and minor tasks to an apprentice of the crew. This time the voyage was not needlessly cruel, he sat and ate with the other officers learning how to fight better and more importantly he learned skills, navigation, linguistics, and look out these became his new jobs, and he found himself with more of the cut and share.

More time passed and by the age of fifteen Jace was an officer on the ship. Quickly making himself popular he was the fourth in charge respected and feared. He wasn’t the child at the end of the whip any more no he was the man who knew how to crack the whip. He had gained his taste for the sea and for blood. The way he saw it if any of the crew failed the ship failed and so the crew from the weakest cabin boy to Ko himself needed to be primed and in the strongest of shapes.

The way Ko ran his ship there was no such thing as a first mate, but it was wildly accepted by his 17th year and the 199th voyage under Ko that Jace was the first mate. And so when he was summoned to the captains quarters and pulled aside Jace was not surprised what he was surprised about was what he was told that night. Ko was a lie his real name was Malikai, and like Jace he had been stolen into service at a young age built up and eventually trained so that he could become the new Ko. Malikai was the fourth Ko who had inherited the ship and like his predecessor had spent his time at the mast creating a legacy and riches that would last him a lifetime, but he was growing old, and it was time that he trained the new Ko.

Jace was to become the new Pirate lord Ko. The shock of it was something he could hardily imagine. And over the next four years he was trained rigorously to become the new pirate lord. Mastering the style manners and weapons of the original lord. This training was as intense as it was delighting and although Jace some times questioned his survival he was sure of his stance. And so the day came that the match started.

To become Ko the old one had to retire meaning that the two had to fight. The two set down on an island and started there fight, although It was never too the death when it came to his mentor Jace had to defeat Ko or die. And on that island he did it. he beat down the former pirate lord by using the very style that he was taught. It was there that jace and Ko sailed back to a pirate port dropped the crew off and picked up a new one. this time Malikai stayed on as Jace’s first mate. When asked why he didn’t look like the pirate lord who had sailed the sea’s for thirty years, Ko now had to carry the dominion of a feared pirate. His usual response ranged from ‘fountain of youth’ to ‘black magic.’ And on a few occasions those that asked were tossed overboard and left to drown after a while people stopped asking and the pirate lord Ko simply took over the ship. His first mate left after the name and fear had stuck and Jace picked up where those before him had left off raiding the seas.

A pirate in a time of war, a severe war at that would be most interesting. I do recall out apps being different than this one, with ya know a section for equipment and another for powers and abilities, and at the top we had species listed as something to be informed of =P However, I think it's safe to say he's human, and I will gladly approve this.
