The First Night In A New Life

"You dirty sons of useless bitches, Ima light you the hell up!" were the words the woman heard before she glanced to her left. The woman scanned the male rather quickly, noticing his thoughts of fire and quickly back flipped out of the way of the intense flames which he forced around him. The heel of her show being slightly burned but not too damaging.

"Fucking hell! What is this shit?" She said as she looked at the man, she then heard what was said. ~'Ah.. A Pyro Mancer... Lets see what we can do with this.'~ She thought before letting her eyes close, her focus being on the Pyro Mancer. With the blood user keeping the pyro busy, she broke into the Pyro's mind rather quickly and scattered them out of place. Making the memories, thoughts, ideas, all out of use.

The woman smiled as she opened her eyes, only yo watch the Pyro shift his body without any real idea as to how he was doing anything. With how his brain was left, there was no way he could process even how to use his powers. Or atleast that's what the woman hoped.

Jeni had done what she though nessescary. The man had insulted her and then had added insult to unjury. And she couldn't have that. She was sworn to protect the innocent and destory the wicked. She turned to her horse after tearing the roughian apart. Mounting up she turned to look at the others whom were dealing with the pyro and just looked down at them and then noticed the woman. She clicked to her horse and took off towards the main road.

Adimus grabbed the harlequinn after she had caused some form of a mental break within the pyro mancer, giving Azriel enough time to launch an attack that barely grazed him. Pete's ice arrow successfully landed causing a break within the flames for Adimus to escape and Lou's axe came thundering in with a resounding explosion, smothering te flames further. Adimus now putting down the Harlequinn, pulled out his sword and shield, and bean a charged at the pyromancer.

"You asshole, you have any idea what you're doing!?" He said as he used his telekinesis to push back the flames, until he was close enough to put a psychic backing into his shield, and bashed the pyromancer's face in. The force was strong enough to knock out the flames surrounding his body just long enough for Adimus leap off of the mancer's knee, and land his sword into his skull, finishing the encoutner with a nasty cringing crack and twist of flesh mashing together. With a second twist he pulled the sword out, and with quick motion gestured his sword back into it's sheath.

"Days work. Good job gentlemen."

In the aftermath Adimus walked over and helped up the harlequin. He noticed the home she had some out of was one of the ones to suffer fire damage, and he felt somewhat bad for starting the entire thing. "Hey, Sorry about the home being burnt up and all, and if it's any consolation, at least there's a giant reward involved, and I am more than willing to have the council pay for this mess." Adimus said before looking down at his watch. "Speaking of which, I get deployed in 5 hours, so I should get some sleep. You're welcome to join me if you need a place to sleep tonight, I'm sure we got an extra barrack or two to spare." He said with a smirk.

Lou and Pete, overhearing the conversation, simply sighed and palmed their faces as the trio left to head back to their living quarters for the night.
