PostSubject: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 21, 2011 7:45 pm

Gavrosh breathed the salt water air. the taste blocking out the majority of his other senses. the walker had only reciently come to serve among them but chances are that he had more battle experience then half the poeple on this boat. hell after 340 years of life he had better know more about war then these newbie ass hats.

"we should be hitting the port rather soon." he couldn't smell anything but the salt, but Kanto was now in sight they would be hitting the land in probably about three hours. which would be good he could finally get off this shit boat.
------

Jace was below quarters on the boat. his network water long employed holding his image among the council as he gave his report. "We will be arriving at Kanto in a few hours, the ship has for the moment served me us well, fastest in the council fleet and if it weren't for its small compartments it would probably be perfect. still I am worried about what awaits us, we haven't seen any ships in a while and although were still hours out, well for a world at war its silent. I will make my report again when we hit land."

Jace waved his hand the water breaking transmission. he sat down on his bed and placed a hand to his palm. as a diplomat he always knew that he would have to come back to this place. Kanto and its forests had raised the elf, a part of him remembered that life a part of him liked this life better.

the shina elves were the prize that the council needed but the shina elves and the wood elves had always been rivals in a way. still he wasn't going as a rep of the forest, and that would work in his favor. one thing was for sure in jaces confused mind. he really really hated kanto.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 21, 2011 8:29 pm

Franz wasn't a fan of boats or ships. Not because he was a victim of sea sickness, but due to his size. The tiny passageways and cramped hallways of ships made him cringe every time he had to go through one. He was asked by Uriel to accompany Councilman Nearmont to Kanto to try and persuade them to join Armetisa's side in this new war. Franz agreed, but only because he was asked to by Uriel. He wasn't keen on having to leave the Aletta behind as well, not after all they've been through. He felt almost like he had to continue protecting her, despite everything that has happened. But he knew she'd be safe in Armetisia. Also joining him, for the boat ride at least would be Adimus and his rag tag team. To Franz they seemed the least likely of warriors, and if he hadn't witnessed them in action himself, he would never believe them to be of any use, let alone fellow Walkers. Hearing the crow's nest chime "Land ho", Franz decided to head to the upper decks to get a view for himself.

Meanwhile, Adimus, Lou, and Pete all bundled together int he arms room of the U.S.V Arris, the so called finest ship in the Council's fleet. They all gathered around the people that they had met, those who had joined them and those who fate put them with. Adimus walked up to the quartermaster and asked to see his wares. Lou and Pete weren't far behind, and soon they were looking through for any form of an upgrade that might present itself to them.

{[This is for the characters that rely on technology. I thought this would be a nice time to stock up on ammo, weapons, or anything you got that might help you in the future, and anyone who joins this thread soon may help themselves to it.]}

As Adimus looked over the items and equipment, he noticed his shield was in very bad shape. While it may have been custom made for him, it was still nothing more than a shield, and Adi asked the quartermaster if the ship had anyone that could fix it, and when the QM said yes, Adi immediately went to see him and have his shield fixed and possibly made stronger. When he reached the man, he simply told Adimus to relax in what seemed like a veyr thick eastern Barlavarian accent, and took the shield into the back. When he came back out, the shield was vastly different: It had not one, not two, not even three, but four spikes on it, small spikes, with iron ingots as their base. Also attached to the shield was a layer of an experimental alloy. "Only best for walker" The smith said. "Projectiles bounce off of this, heavy handed blows rebound with immense force! Take it, best work, until I make something new." Adi, speechless at the sight of what just happened, just simply smiled and took his shield back, which now seemed to weigh.....less? "The hell, this things lighter, how the hell does that.....Oh never mind." He said with a sigh as he headed back to the upperdeck.

Peter on the otherhand was pretty much set. the only thing he took from the QM was a new quiver of arrows, since he had almost ran out back in the street brawl with the Pyromancer in Arnamaeus City. "Shame that I couldn't get my arrows back, but oh well."

Lou favored a new pair of short barrels from the QM, and after a quick tinker with his personal tool set, he had himself a brand new set of fully automatic pistols. "Oh happy days."

With the three of them set, they all headed to the upperdeck and heard the crows nest cry for the sight of land, and each of them felt an uneasy stillness in the air. They all knew war, and they all knew that when things were quiet, to be be their most prepared.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 21, 2011 9:55 pm

Oh dear lord in heaven, why they decided to ever make boats she did not understand why! She was going to kill who ever created boats! Ulg sea sickness! Even though her stomach was churning she sat in the company of the sails. She liked to keep an eye on things and felt that the other two walkers that had been invited along couldn't do the job. She grumbled. The only thing she hated other than being the only female on board was having to leave Porthos in the bowels of the ship. She had only one condtion. That he come along. She decided to bring her bow and arrow as well as her throwing knives.

She winced as the man in the nest cried out for land. Oh for heavens sake...really! She climbed down from her perch and stepped foot on the deck. She was absolutly sure she was a hideous shade of green. Once she was on land she should be just fine. Killing people, pretending to have sex, and riding on a horse...sure she could do all that, but riding on a ship? OH no! Nope...nope!! Mmmm, no! She was about ready to walk below deck when the darling men she'd run into a few days ago.

She stepped to the side as she twirled a knife in her fingers. There was one reason that she was called The Fiddle Back. She hated to be in all this company and even worse hated on the boat, which placed her in a fairly bad mood. She didn't have to go too far to retreive her horse. When she did, she pulled him out on deck and began brushing him off. She was going to have to muck out his stall later, so it wouldn't be too terrible. Once she was done brushing him she put on his saddle and bridle. "We're still a ways out old friend. So, be patient." She said caressing his face and nose.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 21, 2011 10:15 pm

The soft steps of a female pressed into the soft sand on the sea shore of Kanto. The woman's feet being chilled by the salted water which swept up onto land then brushed back. Why was she out on the beach rather than back in the town and at the temple? Today was her day off of course! She could roam around the land as much as she pleased. Mizu relaxed as she enjoyed the salted breeze caressing her being.

Slowly her calmness came to a halt as she noticed boats moving in from the shore. She watched for a moment but once she knew that she could end up in sight she slipped into the forest. She remained relatively near by, to make sure the people coming would not harm her home but that was it. Mizu's figure remained still as she placed her hand on her staff in a light motion, preparing for anything.

~'Why are we getting visitors...? Gil didn't tell me he was sending anyone. Who are these people and what do they want with this land...?'~ Were her thoughts. She didn't know how to react just yet. She crouched a bit to keep herself out of sight of any visitors.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 21, 2011 10:48 pm

Gavrosh sighed as he fiddled with the gauntlet around his arm. the light around it bent to any shape or form he wanted, but at the moment he was just amusing himself out of boardem. there were a total of three walkers on this ship and that made him a little nervous. he had never known this many of them to work together one or two sure but this ship was full of them.

it meant that this was a dire situation and he glowered over that fact. holding out his hand he formed a small projection of light the Kanto map. It had been a few years since he was in this place but the map he summoned and the land mass he could see were approxamitly the same. land masses didn't tend to shift and the elves kept there land in relitivly the same state. he liked the elves, shina forest, didn't matter. sure he lived longer then even there eldest could but hell he liked them they didn't change there morals, and for a while he had even served with the shina hence his omni tool.

---

Jace emerged from his cabin walking on deck he saw a few of the crew give him a salute. technically Jace was the highest ranked person on the ship, but he wasn't really comfortable with that. after all Jace had only ever sailed a few times he knew very little about the workings of a ship. and so he couldn't exactly tell people how to do there job.

he looked over the crew and sighed. quickly walking to the side of the ship he spat into the water. "Helmsmen i know were already in sight but id rather give our exact location a secret to anyone who would not like us docking. prepare to keep the course clear threw heavy mists." Jace breathed in and slowly the water around the ship began to change, the surface of the water boiled and became steam enough to give them cover as they arrived at shore. Jace's eyes glowed blue as he exerted his water magic."That should keep some people guessing any way."

Franz made his way to the bridge and here he found Jace, who appeared rather uneasy. "I'm guessing you're not quite used to this. Going home as an outcast with power." Franz said to him, trying to get a better sense of who he was working with.

Adimus however had something else to make him feel uneasy. His instincts were telling him something was off in the distance, something very powerful, and this odd calm wasn't helping the situation. "We need to find the guy in charge of this ship because things are about to go to hell and quickly." He said as he began to locate Franz or Jace.

Jeni sat out of everyones way that was on the ship. She really only cared for one person on the ship...and technically it wasn't even a person. She caressed Porthos on the nose again, of course than she watched as he pranced about just slightly. "Shhh, now, thats enough!" She said placing her hands over his eyes and caressing them. She couldn't afford to have him skimping about and causing problems on the ship. She watched as the mist began. This made her slightly uncomfortable only because horses could not see in the dark. Sighing she placed her jacket over her horses eyes calming him down.

Brushing the sticky feeling of the mist off her arms she stood and watched everyone. She didn't much want to be here. She would have been happier at home...having her gums scraped. She adjusted her riding boots and her pants before gearin up and pulling on her quiver of arrows and bow.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyWed Jun 22, 2011 2:04 pm

Not completely sure as to who was moving toward her land, being if they were friend or foe, didn't matter. The woman sighed softly as she let her hands sway out towards the sea then towards herself. Slowly, waves began to push the boat towards the island faster. The waves crashed along the shore and along the boat, breaking away at some of it but still propelling it forward. With a quick last motion of her hands, she forced the boat into the land. Not destroying it, but definitely making escaping impossible for a while.

Once the boat was forced ashore, the woman stepped back into the forest slightly, keeping her distance a bit more for many reasons. Slowly the woman's mind slipped into her blank state, in case a psychic was among them. She had learned how to do this by only thoughts of water coming into her head or how to use the water. This was useful and with having a water god's spirit within her, it was easier done than explained.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyWed Jun 22, 2011 3:11 pm

Gavrosh was at the front of the ship as it suddenly lurched forcing him to grab onto the railings. he watched as the ship was battered against the water, and stood his ground as the ship gave a final shudder hitting the country. "Damn it helmsmen your supposed to slow down when you want to dock."

Gavrosh cursed of course this wasn't the work of the ships crew he had been on enough ships to recognize that but it meant that it was at least the work of a water mage. there was Jace the outcasted elf, but why destroy the ship that you commissioned to use? and as far as he knew none of the other walkers were water users. this hole thing wreaked of a trap.

Gavrosh jumped to the land. hitting the ground rolling he stood up, and tried to scent the air. the contanents smells hitting the roof of his mouth as he breathed he could still taste the over powering smell of salt, but now there was the forest scents, he twitched trying to filter threw his memory trying to grab all that he could scent. he strained his ears, but the smells of the forest, and of the sea, as well as the unfamiliar sounds made it difficult to track movement he was still too far out of his element to find anything useful.

------

Jace turned to Franz trying to think of an answer to his question. he was indeed uncomfortable with going to Kanto but he was not returning home. "The forest stopped being my home long ago." Jace said finally deciding that it was best to brush off the walker.

Walkers were the tools of the council and if he knew his fellow council men that meant some of the walkers were monatoring him. the council functioned but as in all politics did not trust eachother fully. it was safer to speak to no one save for his own walker and body gaurd. and where the hell was she any way?

Jace was about to go find her and berate her, when the ship gave a lurch. "I did not do that." he said alowed as the water beneith the ship gave them more speed and rammed them into the land."Hydromancy... Everyone on gaurd we could be under attack. battle stations everyone!" Jace drew out his bow his eyes searching as he cleared his own mist from the field the forest wouldn't hide the person, and he formed his arrow of ice from the air. searching the woods he found a sillouet, female, Jace held his breath and loosed his arrow of ice controlling its speed and aim.

Franz' armor stablized himself for him, allowing him ready himself into a reactive combat stance. His helmet automatically enclosed around his head, and he immediately began scanning for whatever had gripped the boat. "Councilman, please, until your own bodyguard arrives, stay behind me and int he middle of the men." Franz ushered as he moved forward.

Adimus, sensing a shift in balance ahead of time, crouched to his lowest and spread his limbs outward drawing only his shield as he took his stance. Lou not quite as insightful as Adimus ended up tumbling a bit and grabbing hold of one of the railings to prevent himself from being flung forward off the ship, whereas Pete simply moved with the sudden momentum and dive rolled forward drawing out his arm blades and looking for a shadow to sink in and hide. "Look alive guys, things might get a little rough here." Adimus said after the lurching stopped. "Lou, do your best to protect the councilman without exploding him, and Mr. Nearmont, Franz, let me scout ahead." He said as he leapt off the ship landing on the beach, trying to reach out with his instincts, only to find nothing. "Hey, can I borrow that Gavrosh guy, his nose might be able to help me out here."

arriving at kanto Empty
PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyWed Jun 22, 2011 11:21 pm

She was being ignored...by them...er, the men. She hated that! She however knew when she signed up for the job as a walker, that it wasn't a glorious job and she would have to live with this descision until either the day she died or until she retired....which ever would come first. As soon as their ship was jutted forward onto land, Porthos went into a frenzy and began trolloping about. Calming him down immediately so as to not cause any damage to the boat she mounted up and set him charging down the ramp into the sand as soon as the ramp to get off was avaliable. Once on the ground she narrowed her eyes.

As soon as she was to open her mouth and state that she was his appointed body gaurd Adimus started giving orders and asked that one of the other 'for hires' be given the opportunity. Was she really not going to come in handy at this job? "Why the hell did I get to come along? Just to look pretty?!" She half hissed half snarled. She watched on as Jace fired an arrow. Trouble was brewing. She didn't have time to grab Jace as he made off to find whom ever it was that was spying on them and had caused her trouble. She was just glad to be on the ground. Solid, lovely earth.

As she charged forth she slid her horse to a stop almost crashing into Adimus. She stopped to see the men attacking a young woman of sorts. She looked at the young woman with interest. Her hands rested on the saddle horn and her reins hung loosely from her fingers. "You, Franz! The councilman's body guard is here." She said making it quite apparent that she was 'marking' her territory.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyThu Jun 23, 2011 12:19 am

The woman heard someone come up to the side of her, taking aim at her with something. She quickly shifted her body to the left, dashing away from the person but into the sand, toward the others that she did not know but now left land-struck. "Please sir! Don't harm me! I'm merely the priestess of this land!" she said as she hid behind a large rock formation. It was obvious who these people were by the gear they had, not to mention the boat itself. They had to be walkers.

The woman remained to look shaken and scared as she looked at the others with a quick side glance, her mind remaining blocked with the ideas of the ocean, waves and rivers of the land. She gripped onto the large rock shakily as she realized she left her staff in her previous location where the man had found her.

arriving at kanto Empty
PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyThu Jun 23, 2011 12:00 pm

gavrosh blinked hearing everything that was going on as he stressed his ears. he could hear almost everyone screaming in there own orders. the situation was about as chaotic as you could get it but the one voice that was actually screaming was of the shaken up girl. "It's okay shes civilian!" he said at last.

he could pick up her scent now that he was getting more used to the forest smells again. and from what he could taste she was a fan of salt water, and had tattoos on her body he could smell the artificial ink. the smell was defiantly of a woman though the majority of her womanly smells were blocked out by the acidic tang of fear, and the only weapons he could smell were, a knife and... medical herbs. "Its a civilian! no solder would be caught dead with so few weapons."

Gavrosh sighed unsure if anyone would hear him over the general commotion he raised his arm. the omnitool quickly reacted bending light into a large bright sign encase anyone wasn't paying attention to his voice. the sign read simply CIVILIAN. some day he would have to thank the shina elves for giving him a device so useful in nature, but then again the only reason he was allowed to keep it was because it tended to kill non immortals.

--------
Jace sighed as he saw the sign. great he had come on a diplomatic mission only to find out he had nearly shot a civilian. international incident much? still it didn't worry him, technically the person had attacked the boat first. he turned to his body gaurd who had her horse nearby. he sighed "Right and where were you when i started shooting arrows?"

Jace didn't really care that she wasn't by his side when the incedent started. he had lived long enough to know how to take care of himself for a few minutes. but this made her look bad infront of the other walker, and he couldn't really have that kind of thing going around. he wanted his staff to repersent the best. Still he knew she was the right employment for the job.

"I think we can lower our weapons, we don't need this kind of public relations... killing a priestess would not go well on this missions records." he said as he walked forward "Jeni stay close to me, Just becouse it's a priestess doesn't mean we don't know how happy she will be after i just tried to shoot her."

this raised Jace's intrigue internally. Jace had used an arrow of ice, one that he controlled and aimed and as he fired. He had never missed a target in his life, and with the ice arrow that would be more so impossible. something was off here, how did this woman escape the arrow of an elf? not to mention one that the elf could controll in mid flight. although it was lowered his hand tightened on his bow, ~Water is mine to command ive given up far too much to share that power!~

Adimus saw that Gavrosh was already ahead of him, and had already spotted the civilian and warned everyone else to lower their weapons. Only thing was, Adimus felt a bad vibe coming from her, like he knew somewhere that she was bad news. Unfortunately he had nothing to base this off of aside from his instincts, which were hardly ever enough proof to go off of. He waved down Lou telling him he could stop trying to protect Jace, and after he saw Pete's head pop up from a shadow, he ordered him to continue hiding via subtle hand signals. "Can't be too sure...." He thought to himself. "Hey Gavrosh, you sure she's ok? I mean no one else here could've grabbed a ship like that, and then move it with such ease, not even a psychic."

Pete however couldn't maintain shadow hiding for too long, and decided only to use it if things got really out of hand, opting instead to appear from within the shoreline forest and remained hidden there. Through hand signals he relayed this information to Adimus and Lou, who acknowledged via head nods.

Franz on the other hand saw a civilian for a civilian and would show any hostile intent if it had a weapon pointed at him. He simply relaxed his grip on his sword and retracted his helmet. "Councilman, your orders?" He asked to Jace. He knew if anything was actually wrong they would be able to take care of it. Of all the things he and his friends had encountered, they knew that by now, only hell itself would stop them.

As Jace asked Jeni where she had been she was tempted to ask if he had checked the front of the ship. And I mean, how hard was it to miss a gigantic horse? "My apologies. Was all she decided to say. She was just going to do everyone a favor and remain invisable to them. They just seemed to ignore her anyway. She was getting bad feelings. But not from the civillian...or the preistess they were in the midst of attacking. She was getting a very eerie feelin from the trees and forest.

After all trees were living things who carried many secrets brought by the wind. "We should proceed with caution in there." She said nodding towards the forest. She looked down to the frightened preistess and offered her hand to her. "Come along. You can ride with me." She said.

The female looked over the large group and relaxed a bit. She made sure to keep herself as merely a civilian to them and nothing more. "Sorry for the trouble... I am the water priestess of this land. I thought your boat was one of ours just on a wrong course.. So I nudged you a bit. I'm very very sorry... Please forgive me." The female said as her metallic gray eyes looked among the group. She then bowed her head, showing her appologenic nature to the people before her. Her long hair hitting the sand due to it's length.

The woman then stood straight as she smiled softly. "I'll be sure to make sure the town's men help repair your ship. It is the least we could do. Once again, I am sorry. My name is Mizu, Mizu Fydan. Welcome to Kanto." The woman said as she smiled softly at the strangers.

~'Alright.. One female... Five males.. All armed. Once Councilman, the rest are Walkers. This should be interesting.'~ She thought under her ideas of water, making sure to cover up her thoughts with the ideas of water and Kanto. Just in case there was a psychic among the group.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyFri Jun 24, 2011 3:34 pm

Gavrosh shook his head of course the human couldn't smell everything that was going on. he couldn't smell the fact that she had no weapons or the fact that she was actually scared. "My nose tells me shes not a solder and you heard her, she said shes a water priestess. an idiotic one but still only a priestess besides i can tell you right now the most dangerous thing on her is a knife. and by her smell shes far to scared to use it."

Gavrosh bowed to the water priestess. "I am sorry for our attack, you startled most of us with your nudge was all. I am Gavrosh of the Walkers, we are on a diplomatic mission of peace to the shina elves."

Now that he could actually see her he saw her body was elegant and she herself was very stunning, but he was old enough to be the young woman's ancestor. still she was stunning and Gavrosh found himself glancing in her direction his tail swaying uncharacteristically. he was suddenly glad that none of his company were beastrian and couldn't smell his flustered confusion. or recognize the fact that his tail was swaying in embarrassment every time he glanced towards this woman.

She was sertainly pretty to look at but he couldn't directly figgure out what it was about her that he liked. her smell was off attractive most certainly and unique, she was appeasing to look at but that was only skin deep, he litterally kept thinking that he was gonna snap out of it, but forsome reason as he walked with the group he kept glancing towards her.

---------

Jace sighed as franz asked for orders. "How about stand down? and i can keep up with my own body gaurd thank you." Jace simply didn't trust anyone right now still frustrated that the woman had escaped his arrow without even a scratch he couldn't understand it.

he suddenly wished that he had a psychic on his team, but he had brought a combat force not a reader among them. he found himself wishing that there was some way that he could talk to her. Find someway to interrogate this woman under proper circumstances and find out just how she had evaded his shot. he sighed that was gonna be impossible he needed to win over the trust of these people not kill there priestess.

"Can you lead us to the city? I must get to it before sunset if you can." he spoke to the priestess his voice was urgent not impolite. if he stood around on this beach then he would get nothing done. he once again shot a glance towards his body gaurd offering her a lift on the horse. "Actually Jeni i think i will take you up on that offer."

Before she had the chance to object Jace mounted himself on the horse behind her and immediately regretted the action. he had never ridden before, the elves of the forest couldn't use such cumbersome creatures and in armistaria he had other forms of transport. he immediately held onto jeni tightly. "Just don't go too fast."

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptySat Jun 25, 2011 1:13 am

The roar of the engines filled the air as the plane made its way for the land of Kanto. Genji had not vistited his homeland for quit some time, so it was nice when the Council asked him to go on some field recon there. They had made mention that his group of friends who he had met in the field and worked with many a times would be there escorting a Councilman. The loud sounds of the engine bothered Genji, so he pulled out a spell scroll he had bought at the market recently and recited the words. Music began to fill his ears, and some of his favorite music at that. Today it would be Beethoven's 9th symphony "Ode to Joy" The music began and he leaned back against the wall of the plane placing the scroll back in his pocket.. Genji decided not to request one of the luxary planes the council usually gives him. Although his rank was up there near the Councilman he prefered to rough it like his friends in the field. It was nice to be taken in by the council and treated like their golden child as he grew up, but when it came time to work he prefered to stay incognito, so to speak. He went over his mission brief in his head while he waited to reach the dropzone. He was to accompany the Council man and his group of bodyguard to the Elven confines and take record of all the happenings that transpire. Also if there where to be any confilct he was to help keep the Councilman safe with the assistance of the bodyguards. A simple enough mission. A man, of about mid age came up to Genji in a flightsuit, it was the co-pilot. He was holding a parachute and trying to hand it to Genji, while talking. Genji couldnt here what he was saying but knew it had to do with the item in his hands. Genji simply smiled and patted the man on the shoulder before walking to the bay door at the end of the plane, knowing it was time to go. The man seemd paniced and confused at Genji's actions. Genji pulled the lever to the bay door, the door shuddered open and the light mounted to the top of the lever house began to spin and flash. He could see the co-pilot hanging on to the interior of the plane as Genji fell backwards out of it. The wind felt nice today, ruffling his clothes as he plummeted to the gorund below. He could see the ocean below as he made his way through the clouds, and could see land as well. On the shore he saw aship docked roughly, as if there where signs of struggle. Genji moved his hands to his sides, and focused his energy to his palms. Energy gathered before coming to life with blue electricity, that began dancing and arcing everywhich way. He charged his hands to electromagnitize the air allowing him to slow his decent and glide over to the shore where he could see a group of people and a big horse. He could see Councilman Nearmont now and made his way for him, gently landing on the sandy shore and releasing control of his thrusters, and turning off his music spell with a quick "Release" command. "Councilman, i am here on behalf of the Council of Seven to record todays proceedings." He looked around at the uneasiness before placing his right hand across his chest and bowing slightly in respect. "Are you harmed Councilman?" He stood back up and lowered his arm, awaiting a response. He wanted to see his friends but duty came first, if somebody harmed the Councilman it would mean drastic punishment.

As disciplined as Franz was, he always had a hard time following orders from Jace. "He is so god damned pig headed...Arrogant piece of shit." He thought to himself as he bit his tongue before speaking out of turn. "I figured he was already at stand-down sir." Adi chimed in from below, sensing the unease in Franz. Then they heard a plane overhead, and that's when things got a littl tense again for Adimus and company. "Shit, look alive just in case guys." Adi said, as his instincts.........Didn't trip off from the plane. Instead, the air cruiser from up above simply opened it's bay doors and out came a rather familiar sight.

Adimus had previous incursions and jobs while a Yeoman with the person who was falling towards them. He was the Council's and Walker's Information Collector, and his name was Genji, and man was he an asshole. Of course the type of asshole Genji was fitted well with Adimus, and whenever the two worked together, they often found themselves in good spirits with each other. Franz also found himself rather fond of Genji, for even though he was a high ranking member of the Walkers and a close confidant to the Council, he still preferred to bleed in the trenches in battle and rough it when traveling abroad. Humbleness was something to admire Franz figured, and Genji, although eccentric, was very humble.

"Hey Adi, is that who I think it is?" Lou asked over the bow of the ship. "Yes Lou," Adi replied, "I think it just might be."

Of course Peter has never met Genji, although he had heard about him. He knew he could handle a fight, and at the moment, with all the things currently happening, that seemed like a good trait to have. "If he is alright with Adimus, I suppose he is fine with me." Pete thought to himself, still hidden amongst the trees.

After Genji had landed, Adimus leapt back onto the ship to greet his friend, and after a short moment he witnessed Jace climb on top of Jeni's massive horse and attempt to ride off, only to find him clinging to her hips like a scared child. "Ya know, it never gets old nor is it not amusing seeing an elf try to ride a horse. Should just them to us man." Adi said at the sight.

Jeni nodded as Jace told her he would ride with her. It was probably best and safest. She was going to offer him her hand, but he swung up all on his own, and then he grabbed firmly ahold of her body and asked that she not go to fast. "Councilman, riding on a horse is like dancing a dance, with your perfect partner. I will warn you to hold on tighter if need be." She knew what others must think of this. She was very certain at this point that the others were chastising him. However, she knew if it was their first time on the horse especially one this big they would freak out abit as well.

She was ready to click to her horse to have him move on when an air plane came over head Porthos swivled around a small bit and reared up just slightly letting out a roar and settling back down. "Calm your self dear friend." She said patting his neck and watching as a man ascended towards them. She nodded to the man as he asked if Jace was harmed. She turned ever so slightly in the saddle to stare at him from the corner of her eye.

The woman slowly nodded, accepting the apology from the one that seemed to be a Beastian. A soft smile came over her lips as she heard the Councilman ask her to take her to the village. It was kind of funny to see a councilman that was so uptight to the point of being grumpy even on horseback. The woman Motioned for the others to follow her before hearing a roar in the air. She looked upward as a man seemed to lower himself gracefully on the shore. The woman blinked lightly before realizing he was another walker. The man had gone up to the councilman and asked for a report.

"If you would like, I can get you all to the village. You are more than welcome to stay at the temple. We have plenty of rooms and it would keep you out of harms way if the people have some sort of prejudice. It is understandable if they do, after all. You are foreigners. Well... Except for you, Councilman. Tree Elf. It's been a good while since I've seen one of the sort. None the less, please everyone. Follow me." She smiled at the group before walking toward the area where she had run away from the councilman. She grabbed her staff which laid on the floor and began walking through the sandy path through the forest.

The soft tan color of sand soon darkened into the color of dirt. The sounds of steps and twigs breaking easily heard as the group moved. The woman merely continued to be a guide and for the sake of the horse to follow, the woman pushed all water out of the way so that the horse would not get muddied before getting to the village.

arriving at kanto Empty
PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyMon Jun 27, 2011 2:07 am

Gavrosh gagged at the fumes of a plane. and then shook his head. they had sent the councilmen in the ship which had taken three days and was open to attack but they had given this man a plane? sometimes politics was weird. he shrugged trying to get the acrid tang of polution out of his mouth. why did every scent in the world have to be so over powering to the nose of a beastrian.

he sighed as they walked now it seemed that everyone was ignoring the walker, which was fine by gavrosh he didn't want to be the nail that got struck down, though really it happened more often then it should. he looked around half admiring the scenery half remembering details and keeping his senses alert. however more then a few times his eyes drifted back towards the water priestess.

------

Jace held onto Jeni closer then she probably needed to be held onto. he heard others adress him, one of the walkers insulted him, and really did he not know Jace could hear him, to let him know that he was paying attention to them he gave a caugh,

but then the horse reared as the plane came in and he gripped down onto Jeni his arms wrapping around her so tighjtly that he could practically hear her ribs squeezing. still he he couldn't help it he was scared for his own safety.

as they road he heard the water priestess address that he was not a foreigner "Yes well the shina elves and the forest elves, have never directly seen eye to eye, and that prejuduce though light has always been rightly earned, after all when you look out from your cities your graced with the sight and wonders of our forest, when we look out all we see are those monstrosities you call a city."

Jace rolled his eyes still uncomfortable as she displayed powers over water that was his domain, not hers! he bit his toungue the play ground insult was one thing it could be dismissed as playful banter, but calling her out on witch craft, and thats when he got the idea. "Excuse me miss, but as you know i am a forest elf, where i come from magic is forbidden so if you could keep your witch craft tucked away, i may be an armistarian diplomat now, but this is Kanto and you are technically next to forest borders."

Genji looked up from bowing to the councilman only to see him ride off ignoring him. Shocked at the fact he was just ignored he lets out a long drawn out yell "Councilman!" He turned back to the ship where his friends stood and picked a spot on the wall behind them. He focused his mana into his right hand and charged it parking electricity around his arm up to his elbow. The electricity coiled aorund like a snake. With a punch like movement he launched the coiled electricity to the spot behind Adimus. The tether hit and locked into place, and Genji tested it with one good tug, before retracting the rope and bringing himself up to where Adimus was, almost like using the electricity as a rope. "Adimus my old friend how you been?" He let down his arm and released his mana in his hand and shook off the remaining electricity. He couldnt help but to think about where the councilman was heading, and if that woman he was riding with was. Was she a bodyguard issued by the council, or was it that man on the shore inspecting and sniffing around. Genji pulled out a comb and ran it twice through his hair to get it straight again, seeing as how it was a little messed up from his free falling. Now that he was here in Kanto again, he couldnt help but to feel a little uneasy. The air was thick with a bad vibe, making him want to reach the councilman sooner than later before something happens to him. He knew the councilman could handle himself to a degree but going into enemy territory before a treaty was signed was risky. "So first thing is first, do we have any food on this boat? And where is the councilman heading? and why arent we following?" He began interigating his friends, knowing full well they would understand his concerns.

PostSubject: Re: arriving at kanto   arriving at kanto EmptyTue Jun 28, 2011 8:51 pm

After shaking hands with his old friend, Adimus took note of what he said and ordered Lou to come down to him. "We need to get back up there to Jace, to make sure he's ok because while Jen may be a capable fighter, she is only one person, and to be honest we don't know what we're dealing with here yet, and something still feels very off." He said to Lou and Genji before looking back up to Franz and going "Oi, Franzy-poo, you coming down here or what?"

After hearing Adimus call to him, Franz looked down and ushered "Only because you're too puny to do anything!" With humor in his voice. He leapt downward and landed with a loud crash, kneeling from the force of the impact. "Quickly, let us catch up to them, we got work to do. And needless to say be alert. Captain Nelarion, you're in charge until we get back." Franz said as they all began to move towards Jace's position.

Pete still remained within the trees, completely out of sight but still able to keep eyes on everything that was happening. "I wonder what's going to happen from here on out...." He thought to himself.

Jeni came under slight discomfort when she felt that Jace gripped onto her tighter. She squirmed ever so slightly, it was like wearing a corset. Uncomfortable, but made her figure impecable. She smiled as her horse calmed down and pranced about. "Lets go." She smirked to the others and then took off at a dead gallop. "Come on!" She hollard to the others. She knew they didn't have horses, but still she shouldn't have a problem letting them catch up. She slowed her horse to a stand still. "Sorry Councilman, some times I get alittle carried away." She said preparing herself for a scolding.
