Crossroads Outpost

Jeni felt bad as Gavrosh passed her. She wasn't going to sleep in anyones room tonight. She would sleep outside in a tree, it was something she was used to doing, and she could go for a swim...well maybe. She jumped slightly as Viral opened the door. He seemed embarassed that there was only one bed. She smiled gently. "It's alright. I appreciate the offer, but I am going to sleep outside. Its a nice night and all and I am looking forward to sleeping in a tree and going for a small swim." She said and then turned away.

She climbed down the stairs and walked out of the tavern. She was cat called at by the men whom had just used her head and Gavrosh's head as target practice not too long before. She rolled her eyes and shook her head and climbed up the nearest tree she could find. She pulled a knife out from her boot and began to carve into a peice of the tree trunk. She looked up at the sky as the stars began to come out. She smiled and leaned against the tree trunk.

Viral watched as Jeni turned and left. He gave a slight sigh of relief. "That was about to turn into a disaster... But I guess so long as shes happy I don't need to worry about it." He finished un-packing and got dress into his sleep-wear. He locked his door and got into his bed, closing his eyes and, soon, falling into a deep sleep.

A swim? the idea was actually enjoyable but leaving to follow the young woman would seem a little odd. instead he went to his room and laid down for a moment after a few minutes he realized that tonight would be one of those nights. after a regeneration he was wide awake and there would be no point too sleeping. he would probably be wide awake for the next day or two, if he didn't die during that time he would probably get some sleep then.

leaving the tavern he no longer really had any need for food or sleep and his spirits were high enough. but he did want to figgure out where there was an actual place to swim. opening his mouth he let the air waft up against the roof of his mouth, and could easily scent the water. walking down to it he smiled no one was down here, and that was probably better for the moment.

he could smell the girl up in a tree but he didn't want to invite her just yet. taking off his clothing and taking off the glove that so often protected him he walked into the water. beastrians were not natural swimmers and hyena clan wasn't known for its swimming ability as they hailed from the fire sands, but Gavrosh had taught himself how to dog paddle well enough.

Jeni sat in the tree for a while and then finally decided that a swim would be very beneficial. She hopped out of the tree and then removed most of her clothing with the exception of her underwear which was not see through and wouldn't be wet. She made her way to the pool of water failing to see Gavrosh. She slipped into the water without hardly disturbing it. She laid underneath the surface for a while and then finally surfaced flipping her hair out of the way . She swam about doing laps feeling good after doing so for only a short while.

Finally she stopped and laid in the middle of the pool of water, just floating on the surface, her arms out on either side of her body, her legs extended.

Viral had woken up, rubbing his eyes viciously. He looked around, then continuing to stand up, he put on his usual dress clothes and packed his stuff, rolling it down the stairs, he placed the keys on the counter of the tavern, and put twenty coins next to them before continuing out to the caravan, tossing the suitcase into the back cart.

He looked around before taking out a small set of blades, flicking them around before throwing them into the ground. Viral was a patient person, so he could wait a while, but he still needed to find something to do for the amount of time. He picked up the blades, tossing them into the cart, alongside the suitcase. He paced into the tavern and ordered a continental breakfast. He sat down and started munching on the bacon.
